If we ever had a thread it's over a year old and doesn't come up on the search...
Red Knife Lottery, aka one of my favorite bands ever, just released their first full length album, Soiled Soul and Rapture (streaming here) and so far it sounds really good... although So Much Drama seems a liiiiiittle bit more stylized, but I'm still on my first listen.
Basically they sound kind of like if Karen O sang for the Blood Brothers. Yum.

I have Hip Bruisers on vinyl. I love love love it. Listening to new material now.

^Agreed.
I really like the new record, I don't think I will listen to it as much as I listen to So Much Drama, but it's still very good.

^Yeah same here, I liked the style of So Muxh Drama a little more, but
this one is still pretty good.

whoa, thanks for checking it out you guys! we appreciate it more than you know. obviously with a 5 year gap and some member switches and additions we wanted to try out some different stuff with this new album...if we didn't we would go crazy as a band and as artists, so the feedback is awesome.
rest assured we are already writing and are a couple songs into our next record.
we think these are our best songs yet and we are definitely going back to some "drama-esque" parts.

also. thought i would share this with you guys in case you haven't seen it. our video for junkie jazz. song is a bit on the lighter side than what the rest of the album sounds like, but we're proud of how it turned out and a lot of friends pulled a lot of favors....word.
