^^ Ah whoopsies I was thinking of the ap tour last year. TOC should easily fill the Roseland. Too bad I would only want to see the Cancer Bats, which has already happened so this tour is useless to me.

I do enjoy the Roseland, though.

gonna get my space face on.

Tis a pretty decent venue not my favorite at all though, that belongs to the hawthorne, the satyricon is pretty okay too, especially when broadway calls and polar bear club play on the floor

ah yes... Good ol' Satyricon. I've seen a couple good shows there and a couple really f*cking awful ones. I'll be seeing Off With Their Heads there in February so I will add that to my good shows list.

gonna get my space face on.

i was kind of expecting it when i heard about the line-up, but the taste of chaos show is at the electric factory this year, which kinda blows. i've already seen 3/5 of the bands that will be there, too, so i'm leaning towards a no. i'd love to go but i'm not really feeling the venue and one thing i really liked about taste of chaos before was the seating. sure call me lazy or whatev but i liked being able to go and do whatever the hell i wanted without having to worry about losing a good spot.

I really hate the Electric Factory...but I'll take it over an arena any day.  Basically ToC is a FUCK YES because of Thursday.  As mentioned in the Thursday thread, I will see that band in any venue with any opener. I like it better when Thursday plays the TLA though which is why I was kind of pissed they're on ToC instead of going on their own tour.

I haven't been to a show in forever....
I need to make friends with some people who can drive. Seriously.

Luckily I expect I will be seeing TREOS next Saturday and I am super super super excited.

A long time ago, someone here in the pit told me that Saosin sucked live, but I refused to give up hope. So I was super excited to see them last night, but yes... they were terrible. It was very sad. But Oh, Sleeper was playing with them, & THEY were awesome. I got some autographs too.   Next week i'm seeing Job for a Cowboy!

Sooo yeah.  Because the Murder By Death show in Philly is 21+ I ended up looking into going to the NYC show.  I found a way to get to and from NYC spending less than 40 bucks and one of my pals on VC has offered me a place to stay so I think this is gonna work out.  WOO!  I'm pretty sure Fake Problems is also playing this tour if I'm not mistaken.

That said we've had enough
Put "Walk Among Us" on and turn it up

So stoked, just found out H2o is playing in eugene in february which is quite a drive for me but totally worth it considering h2o is one of my favorite bands. Dropkick Murpheys is headling, Ive never gotten into them for some reason but I think I will start listening now

The Hush Sound weren't bad at all last night. I really like their music and they performed very well live. I had a pretty lengthy conversation with Greta Salpeter (Keyboardist/Vocalist of the band) and I do have to say I have a new love of my life....Ahhh yes....that women is amazing....   I have a couple pictures of her and I that I'll put up a little later....

Dude, I saw the Murphys last month in Knoxville, hands down, best concert I've ever seen. I knew their live show would give Set Your Goals a run for their money, and they blew it away.

And when I finally got to work today, I ate my Subway sandwich, and I drank my Coca-Cola Classic, and then I ate my Sunchips and I thought about the weekend when I'd fill up my Ford van with Mobil brand gas and drive to the Clear Channel venue and I'd drink myself a Budweiser and play my Fender guitar through my Fender amplifier and tell the kids with a straight face through a Shure microphone and JBL speakers that corporate rock is for suckers.

^^ One of my best freinds is a huge Murphys fan, he told me that them and flogging molly are like the two best live bands of all time. I downloaded a bunch of dropkick murphys stuff last night, getting pretty stoked on it, Can not believe I never really listened to them before. I mean of course Ive heard a lot of their songs just never sat down and listened to them before.

I'm finally going to see Cursive after all this time.  I can hardly believe it.  I thought they were always going to be out of my grasp - I have this strange talent of missing them everytime I go/live somewhere.

I f*cking love polar bear club, they have only played in portland once, so glad i got to cath that show. They put on such a great show, it was funny cuz the dudes in broadway calls are huge fans of that band so they were all going nuts for them too, and then they had to play afterwards.

So tonight i bought my tickets from a ticketmaster for the 16th(by the way everyone tonights show was f*cking gfantastic) and after i left i look at them and i see +18 for show. My jaw hit the floor. All of my friends are 18 except one. So we were scared if he wasnt going to be able to go because we just spent money on a ticket that he couldnt use.

so i go up the the singer of PBC and ask him about it and the first thing he says is "dude, if they give you sh*t about your friend, come find me, ill let him in."

seriously Polar Bear Club is the coolest band ever.
I have no voice and now i have to be at work in 6 hours.

that band is so good.
