AP Internships

Thanks for inquiring about AP internships. We offer unpaid internships to students who are looking to gain college credit or to fulfill course requirements through outside experience. The typical internship is 20 hours per week and we can work with your schedule as long as the hours you keep are fairly consistent. We accept applications year–round. However, during the summer we receive a lot of applications and those spots fill up fast. Finally, you have to be living in Cleveland in order to intern at AP. It’s a great, cheap town to live in, even if only temporarily.

• Assist in subscription order fulfillment and service
• Assist in developing subscription promotions
• Organizing the AP Street Team
• Assist in a variety of daily subscription department tasks

  • Assist with a variety of editorial tasks daily

ART/PRODUCTION >>>

  • Scanning of photos, slides & other art
  • Prepare mailings
  • Page layout & advertising/promotional design
  • Website layout and updating
  • Knowledge of all or some of the following: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Quark Xpress. Macromedia Dreamweaver & Fireworks, FrontPage a plus.
