Video may be new, but Broken Bride has been out for 4 years now.
The beginning of the video was completely irrelevant to the plot of Broken Bride as a whole let alone Save Our City on it's own. The ending was great. In all it was lackluster. Love me some Ludo, but this was sad and did not live up to the AWESOME'NESS that is Broken Bride.
SelerMarie, I disagree with you. The video is telling the story of what is happening in 'Save our City' specifically, not the entire rock opera. I can't get the video to load up for me past the first chorus, but as much as I have seen I already love. It's beautifully made. Love how it's the boy talking to the lyrics and everything! Kudos, Guys.
the broken bride is super old already bout 3 years its cool that its being re-released bucause i freakin love ludo and the broken bride is aaaaaweeeesome but this video looked like some college kid's art project did not do the music justice at all. this music deserved a large scale would have been cool to see the band in the video cuz they r super animated. hope the next video is amazing dragon's on the rise!!! lol
Yeah I wish the art was a bit better, and that there was an animated version of the guys in the video, but whatever. It's good with the whole story telling aspect. If you listen to the lyrics really closely this video goes exactly along with it. I never really understood how it fit into the plot of Broken Bride anyways. But this song has made me love Ludo all the more. Andrew's vocals are amazing. And the drumline aspect at parts of it is killer. Overall great song, decent video.
I wish Island would have given you a bigger budget. I'm not too fond of the video. Maybe I'm not artistic enough to appreciate it, but it was poorly done. I love the song, EP and you as a band :)
I like the thought put into it, and I agree with punkarella. If they had a bigger budget, it would have been better and measure up to what a great song it is.

GAH! I am a 2-D student animator and was planning to animate all of broken bride as a side project.
I think it is a true piece of eye candy! Also, it is nice to have a visual to go with the song.. it is a story, and now it can be played for our eyes as well as our ears.
