Last month, Canadian metalcore quintet Protest The Hero took to the road with Trivium for a North American tour. Here's some of what they saw, in words and pictures. Learn more at www.protestthehero.com.

Camelot:
Arif and I were out adventuring around Wisconsin, and we stumbled across a time machine abandon in a corn field. We thought it would be cool to go to check out some of Medieval things we've heard about in Rhapsody lyrics. We time warped back to the Middles Ages and found ourselves outside the castle of Camelot. On the way in, Arif had to fight a dragon that was guarding the Castle. Once we got inside we got to hang out with Sir Lancelot and Merlin.

Polar Island:
Who would have thought there were penguins and polarbears in the Mid West? Only at Polar Island. It seems that the Arctic Wildlife is flourishing! Arif and I were lucky enough to march with the penguins and 'chill' with the polarbears.

Random:
Coincidently, we ran into Elvis, the Blues Bros. and Marilyn Monroe who were outside a diner, near a gas station that we stopped at. We decided to take some pictures with them. Also, we made friends with the various wildlife that was outside the gas station.

Taken by the lovely Blair Reynolds, this was at the Palladium in Worchester, Mass. After the set, I ordered a couple pizzas and spent the remainder of the night trying to explain to the pizza man where I was standing at the venue. However, when we met up, the pizza was still warm and delicious.

We got caught in a Thunder snowstorm coming into Buffalo. We were already late because our van broke down. We had to leave directly after our set because we heard there was going to be a ban on driving. An hour later, we checked into a hotel a mile from the club. Many trees came down in the storm and the next morning we had to wait until the police opened up the interstate. It seems early snow creates chaos.

I was caught off guard when I stumbled across Gay St. I was even more surprised when I realized it was one way. This was on a rainy day in New York. We happened to be there the same day as the plane crash. Luckily, it's a big city and we weren't anywhere near it.
