Phoenix-based screamo quintet Blessthefall are currently on a co-headlining tour with Escape The Fate through mid-October in support of their debut album His Last Walk, and we've asked them to document their expriences exclusively for altpress.com readers. This is the second installment of their weekly tour diary; you can read week one here and week two here.

Hello again! Welcome to Week 3 of the Blessthefall - Black On Black Tour Diary. Hopefully we worked out all the bugs with this one and all the pics and videos will show! This week was awesome, lets get to it!

Philadelphia

The venue was weird... It was like a puppets playhouse:

Similar huh? It was tiny. The show sold out a week ago. Oh well, bottoms up:

Too bad they couldnt move it downstairs to the main room.....the zombie prom was booked already.

The awesome Dance Gavin Dance jumped on today! They are amazing. The show was off the chain:

Thanks SO much everyone! We love you!

New York!

It was insane trying to drive around with the beastly trailer, but we made it!

First things first. We saw a bright green Wendys around the corner....had to run in.

Ahhhhhhhh thats more like it. The original plan was to play the Knitting Factory, but we got moved over to The Rebel. It was a sweet venue:

I dont think they are used to all ages rock shows. There was dancing cages on the walls and party lights all over the venue. I think The Rebel was more into this kinda thing:

Anyways, the show was freaking NUTS! The show was SOLD OUT! It was hard to breathe with all you crazy people inside!

YES! Thanks for coming out everyone! After the show, our friend Anthony from Warped Tour showed us around the city and put bets that we couldnt do 10 pull ups.

Jared got the most:

City of lights:

Time for sleep!

Cleveland!

The Grog Shop. Sounded like a comic book store, but it was cool. The sidewalk dog was a pimp though:

For some reason, we were all craving doughnuts. Crumb cake works:

This thing was SO soft....it was like biting into a tempurpedic mattress!

That soft. MMMMM, bite one if you havnt yet:

The show was packed!

We had a few injuries from the show. Missing tooth:

Shanked arm:

Troopers. After the show, there was a mad rap battle going on between some random street dude and Ronnie of Escape The Fate:

Thanks for comin out everyone!

Columbus!
Everything closes too early here! I walked like 2 miles to find something open...thank god for Starbucks:

Thanks to hacky sac too for just being AMAZING:

The venue was sweet. They had Atari!

WOW. The show sold out and it was nuts! Everyone was crammed into a tiny floor area boucing off the walls! It was awesome! Yellowcard was also playing next door in the main room......thanks for rockin with us instead! We love you!

Detroit!

We love you guys here. We totally love what the Wendys have done here too!

ORDER FORMS. That made for a van full of happy campers. Today we played the Magic Stick!

It was magical.

We arrived early, so we got to have hours of fun! Free bowling next door! Dougie, Jared, Ronnie and myself, rocked the lanes:

After bowling, we joined the crazy guys in Dance Gavin Dance and Love Hate Hero in dice betting.

Today Ronnie finally got to shower.....he decided to tell everyone inside by taking a naked run through the venue:

The show was just as fun as all the games we played today!

Thanks everyone!

Chicago!!!!!!!!

You totally proved yourself today! First, traffic was absolutely horrible coming in. We were able to stop on the freeway and pee if we wanted:

It got worse from there:

Stairs, and tons of 'em:

It was like walking up that. Next door at the grill, the wall was representing!

The show was enormous:

In honor of the amazing show, we put on a rap party/light show in the van.....check it out:

Thanks everyone!

St Luuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Today we played the Creepy Crawl:

They had White Castle for everyone....but somehow thast entire box dissapeared before the band could even get to it:

LHH+BTF= FFL <3

Hmmmmmmm. Whats this light switch do?

Anyways..... THE SHOW SOLD OUT! It was absolutely nuts! We had so much fun:

Thanks so much everyone for making such a fun night! We love you!
