THE STORY SO FAR: Can you name an unsigned band that played both the Bamboozle and Bamboozle Left this year? You can now. New Jersey pop four-piece Can You Keep A Secret performed at both shows as part of their U.S. tour this past spring. That's impressive, considering the band only came together two years ago. "We're not your typical pop band," says guitarist Alan Scarpa. "We hit you with an [honesty] that's hard to come by today."
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: While their touring resume is constantly growing (they'll be on their fifth self-booked tour this summer), Can You Keep A Secret have been fine-tuning their glossy brand of melodic rock. "We're catchy as hell but still very earnest," says Scarpa. "We aren't all lollipops and ice cream."
