THE STORY SO FAR: Frontman Vinny Prezioso believes it's easy to see how his Boston-area, screamo-pop five-piece Thirteen Yards To Victory has made it this far. "It's not hard to notice a band who are constantly promoting and have seven tours under their belts while still being very young," he says. Although the senior member of TYTV is just old enough to drink, the group recorded most of their EP Reflections at their own studio.
WHY YOU SHOULD KNOW 'EM: Whether you're looking for pop-punk tendencies, screamo growling or the occasional gang vocal sound, the band-Prezioso, guitarist/vocalist Tom Iannello, synth op Justin Lepore, bassist Dave Rossi and drummer Ryan Passariello-are there to provide it. "Our music is compelling and unique," says Prezioso. "We're solid musicians and we've worked very hard to get where we are." [TJK]
